Īssuming I want to stay in the original key (and I usually do), and assuming I don't want to tune down to D, I would play this with a capo on the 3rd fret and use the Em shapes. and this seems too good a challenge to leave alone. ![]() ![]() I love to play songs on guitar that 'normal' people would never consider doing. hehĮDIT :I quit ! (trying to figure the darn thing out) That's just me going by (hungover) ear, I could be way off. ![]() The melody is oddly atonal (A,A,A,Bb,A, A,Bb,A,A, - A,A,A,Bb,A A,Bb,Bb,A,Eb,D, - A,A,A,Bb,A, A,Bb,A,Db, A,C,D,A,D, A,A,F,F,F) and the cooky syncopated bass line is something like D,D,F,F,Ab,Ab,Bb,A,Bb. ![]() The chorus is basically Gm-F-Eb-Cm (Eb = a tough chord to get to sound full & rich on the guitar as you know), but it gets really tricky in the verse 'modulation'.
